elete™ is a blend of concentrated electrolytes and 70 trace and ultra-trace minerals that can be added to any drink; cold or hot (...it is great in coffee!) or even any food. elete™ instantly delivers important electrolytes like potassium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and sulfate to your body.

For general use, we recommend mixing 2.5 ml of elete™ per 1 litre of water (or 3.0 ml for CitriLyte). You can safely use this ratio for however much water you consume throughout the day. An electrolyte is any substance that dissociates into ions when dissolved in a suitable medium (such as water) and thus becomes a conductor of electricity.  The minerals, trace elements, ultra-trace elements dissolved in a water medium would have gained or lost one or more of their valence electrons thus giving them a net positive or negative electrical ‘ionic’ charge.  In this form there is no further digestive process required.  If needed by the body they are readily absorbed.

Many sports drinks which claim to contain electrolytes do not - as the minerals they contain are not in ionic form. This means that such drinks will NOT hydrate effectively. We regularly conduct analyses of heavy metals to ensure safety. Natural brines from the ocean and the Great Salt Lake do include very, very small amounts of heavy metals. We recommend that, as a general guide, 2.5ml of elete™ (or 3.0ml of CitriLyte) is added to each litre of water or drink consumed (2.5ml = one capful from the 25ml pocket bottle or ½ a teaspoon). However, everyone has a different biological make-up which means different amounts can be required by different people. Furthermore, with 80% of the population of the Western World believed to be depleted in magnesium, for example, it means that many people would benefit from higher amounts of elete™. It's best to store elete™ in a cool, dry place - there is no need to refrigerate. We always advise that it is stored out of reach of children.

We only recommend using the smaller, 25ml refillable pocket flasks when travelling, as once opened, elete™ refill bottles can leak due to their flip-top lid.

The shelf life of elete™ is 6 years, and for CitriLyte™ it is 5years. The shelf life remains the same whether the bottle is opened or not.
