Again, I/we can’t thank you and elete enough. It has been a long, hot summer here in Chicago – perfect for preparing for the Sahara Race coming up in three weeks (Note: The Sahara Race is a self-supported foot race across 150 miles (250 kms) of the Sahara Desert). We have slurped our way through the entire box of products you sent. The real testimonial is from my wife, Nancy. After years of stomach issues, going through every supplement you can think of, and talking to a number of doctors, I stumbled on an elete through a Triathlete magazine. I contacted elete, and you were prompt in getting back to me and offering to send product for us to try.
My wife has had incredible success using elete. Our running programs typically include multiple 2.5 to 4 hour runs each week, often in the middle of the day (in case you didn’t know, Chicago had over thirty days of 90+ degree weather this past summer—we ran through it all). elete has been the main staple of our training table—both prior to and during an event. With all the run-specific training, Nancy and I haven’t had a lot of time to train for triathlons, but in the 1/2 Ironman we did do this summer, I was a few seconds off my PR and Nancy was within minutes of hers. We changed our hydration strategy and took water bottles filled with elete instead of other products we’ve used. Since that race, our run mileage has gone up and we are peaking for the 9/25/05 start of the Sahara Race. We continue training with elete and will carry and use it in Egypt on a daily basis.
